January
This month I managed to participate in

perioddrama_ic's Challenge 37 by making 4 icons, I liked how I experimented with using different textures. I also participate in Round 5 of

somein30 by making 5 icons based on atmospheric themes.

February
I made a fair amount of icons this month. I managed to make some nice complex icons for

perioddrama_ic Challenge 38, 20 icons for

narnia20in20, as well as 10 (5 minimalist and 5 complex) icons for Round 6 at

somein30.

March
This month I only managed to make 2 icons each for Challenges 39 and 40 over at

perioddrama_ic. This is due to me starting Honours at uni thus I was incredibly busy.

April
I did manage to find time and energy to make 3 icons for Challenge 42 over at

perioddrama_ic, as well as make make 5 icons based on my favourite period couples for Round 8 over at

somein30. I was able to experiment with using text and lighting effects, which was really good.

May
Despite being very busy with uni, I did manage to make 5 icons where I experimented with far and close cropping for Round 9 of

somein30, which I really enjoyed doing as I love playing around with cropping images.

June
Uni was incredibly busy and my low iron levels started to effect me a fair bit, so I only managed to make 4 icons for Challenge 44 at

perioddrama_ic. That being said, with this batch of icons I really worked on creating more complex icons by using multiple textures on top of each other, which I think some of them turned out very well.

July - October
I did not manage to make any icons for four months as uni and real life (and an incredibly low iron levels - my levels were 6 and they are meant to be a min of 30) kept me so busy that I had not much energy to do much else.

November
Finally this month I managed to find time and energy to make 4 icons for Challenge 47 over at

perioddrama_ic, as well as 10 icons for Round 12 of

somein30. It felt really good to be making icons again.

December
This month I managed to make 3 icons for Challenge 48 over at

perioddrama_ic, as well as make 5 icons for

littlemermaid as part of

perioddrama_ic's Christmas Icon Secret Santa 2021. I really liked the icons I made for her as I managed to really incorporate textures into my icons (which I love to do!)

All in all, despite being really busy and unwell, I actually managed to make 89 icons (though that was way off my goal of 120 icons), which is amazing! My resolution for 2022 are to make at least 70 icons, participate in at least one challenge per month and continue working on making more complex icons
