Here's the icons I made for somein30 Round 2: Heroes & Villains. I chose to do Hard Mode and completed 10 icons.

Wonderful set!! I love that you chose hard mode and used so many of the palettes, and even used multiple inspirations for some icons :)

First of all I love the soft glowy lighting on these, especially on 2, 5 and 10. 7 is gorgeous, the pale coloring is absolutely wonderful, and again with the incredible lighting! <3
8 is another one where the lighting is just so good, the crop is awesome too.
My top favorite has to be 6, the composition is absolutely wonderful and the coloring is spot on. And I love the way you used the quote in 9, I'm always impressed when anyone gets that much text into an icon!

Thanks so much for your detailed comment :) I really had fun doing this challenge and was inspired by so many of the palettes etc, so good job on coming up with a great challenge post :)

I'm particularly happy to see that you liked the way I used the quote in 9th icon, as I'm not overly confident with using text in icons (I rarely use it).

I really love the green color of 1 and 2 and the lighting is super beautiful but also powerful! Love text of 4 and the contrast! I love the balance of 6; so pretty colors and the lighting! I also really love the lighting of 8 and 10! ♥
